The Whispering In Room 6. (1)
The old school building had been empty for years, but tonight, Mia and her friends dared each other to sneak inside. The halls smelled like dust and mildew. Their footsteps echoed even though they tried to stay quiet.
“Let’s check Room 6,” whispered Jordan, pointing to a door at the very end of the hallway.
Everyone froze. That was the room kids used to talk about—the one where a student had disappeared long ago.
The door creaked open slowly. Desks were scattered, papers torn, and a single chair sat in the middle of the room. On the blackboard, faint white letters still remained: DON’T LISTEN.
Suddenly, Mia heard it—a soft, breathy whisper right behind her ear.
She spun around. No one was there.
The whisper grew louder, wrapping around the whole room, repeating the same word over and over:
“Stay… stay… stay…”
Her friends screamed and ran for the hall, but the door slammed shut before Mia could follow. She was trapped in Room 6.
And the whisper wasn’t behind her anymore.
It was inside her head.
