“Let Go & Let God”
She heard this phrases before, she reads about it. And she’s trying, really trying.
It wasn’t an easy decision, not for Lizi Lee.
She’d always clung tightly to control, especially over the things she knew she could do well. Her hands were used to crafting details, her mind used to measuring everything twice, sometimes three times, just to make sure it was right.
She was taught to be perfect, all her life. How to sit, how to breathe, how to eat, how to walk, how to talk, and that achieving a great result is the only appropriate success.
But perfection is a heavy burden, and even the strongest hearts can’t carry it forever.
She’s learning now and not just to work, but to release.
To breathe. To believe that maybe things don’t have to be flawless to be beautiful.
That God’s plans don’t require her perfection, only her trust and her surrender.
So, she’s letting go.
Not because she’s giving up, but because she’s finally starting to see.
‘That some of the most beautiful things God has for her, will only unfold when her hands are open.’
