Noise, so much noise

Screams, tear through the flimsy walls

So many voices competing to be heard

So many emotions fight for control

Tears of sadness well up

But are beaten back by anger

The walls are falling under the tumult

The foundation cracks under the weight of

Chaos

But it’s only in my head

The storm found deep in my eyes

The cry for help is silent

I am the picture of tranquility

Except for the smallest crack

The smallest chink in my armor

And if you look closely

You can just see

My heart break under the pressure of my mind
