On the 22nd of July the proposals we have all been waiting for, took place. Michael Robinson has finally names the bride to be after many years of anticipation. And the way he did it, did not disappoint.

Mr Robinson has been the talk most memebers off society over the past decade, and rightfully so, he has won 6 community service awards and has taken part in every awarding ceremony over the last 7 years. He has talked of marriage in nearly all of his speeches, leaving the press and generalized public eager to know what his plans where and who his mystery bride may be. Well now all is revealed and for the first time in the last 5 years we have finally had a accepted proposal by the mayor.

Robinson proposed in an unthinkable way to Amanda Thorpe, an eligible bachelorette and a woman much talked about amongst the proposal press. And when this proposal came before Mayor Randolph he had no obligation against the elaborate happenings. This is unusual to his streak of 34 abolished proposals, but it seems to be that we can all learn a thing or two from Robinson.

It was in a small beach side town ; Lennon, on the coast of south Cornwall where Robinson did not get down on one knee but had a flash mob to do so. 1123 men and women kneeled on the beach looking up to Amanda as she stood on the ocean walkway with a shock ridden face. Robinson then proceeded to announce the opening of a hotel in Amanda’s name using Robinson as her surname. After this announcement, Robinson opened his heart and feeling out to Amanda in the form of a love poem, almost creating a melody in such a romantic moment for the couple.

Later in the evening we saw the newly named Amanda Robinson conduct a speech on her upbringing and relations. She stated that she grew up in a family where she must only accept the most eligible man and must only ever do so if the proposal would be accepted. Amanda proceeded to address the social humiliation of an uneccepted proposal by Mayor Randolph. She talked about her aunt who is now living in the French alps due to an abolished proposal she accepted. Amanda’s family went through humiliation as Laurel Thorpe accepted a proposal due to love. Mayor Randolph turned this proposal down before the hearing even started. Though it is needless to say Amanda has saved her family’s reputation from the recent proposal.
