WRITING OBSTACLE

Describe an object’s temperature without using words relating to tactile senses.

Tactile senses, or the sense of touch, are usually what we use to identify whether something is hot or cold. Without this sense, how else can we recognise and describe temperature?

The Golden

“Ahhh!” I woke up with a start. I was in a field of books galore. Leather books, Hard back books, journals, some books that were newer looking, and some books older.

In the corner of the room there was a small desk with a golden book on it I was being pulled to it I put my hand on it and everything was cold except the book the book was burning hot. The air around it was freezing and I was tingling I couldn’t move the boook opened to the middle.

It read ghost spells at the top the rest of the page. On the bottom there were inconspicuous warnings.

Just before I touched the book it lit up a swirl of smoke and flames rose above me.

“What the hell!!!” I thought.

I could feel my face reaching its britest color of red. I fell in pain and the air cooled again.

Right after I saw a light of orange shining from the side of my vision I fell into a deep dase utill I finally rolled my head to the side and passed out.
