A Chueh-chu is a Chinese poetic form based on a shortened sonnet. It has 2 stanzas with 4 lines each, with 10 syllables in each line.
hope that the sunshine brings.
i awoke to the glorious sunshine,
the bright rays shining down gloriously,
the big sun glistened in the clear, blue sky
ever so beautifully, oh, it called me.
the wonderful sunshine gave me great hope;
hope that everlasting love would not fail;
hope that today would be a splendid day
full of splendid gifts like this nice sunshine.
