Write a poem that begins with a focus on loss, and concludes with a focus on love.
Think about the sturctures and flows that you can use to change the focus from beginning to end.
To See The Gardens
The gardens we once watered,
Now ablaze amidst the drought.
No salvation, no remorse,
No colors left but red…
Soon all the flowers will be dead.
It must be time for us to part
You know it’s true within your heart;
To greener pastures, to blacker soils
Away from pain and turmoil.
And though some ash still lingers,
Some carried by the breeze,
In due time all must heal…
Soon all the flowers will bloom again
