Oh, how I thought when they had told me about the sleeping maiden, entrapped in glass, I would find this beautiful woman. But, as I stepped up to her glass case, after taking away that deceiving glass, I had realised that the fair maiden I had seen earlier was just a hoax. I stumble back, in fear. The maiden was not in fact sleeping, but rather undead. She shot up and made a grab for me, as soon as her slimy skin made contact, a screech escapes her lips and I do my best to dart away. As I run, I can hear the heavy, slimy steps of the creature, it’s pace albeit a bit slower than mine, is worrying. As I keep running, a warped gnome pops out of nowhere, tripping me. I scramble as fast as I can away, although it’s not enough. It jumps on top of me as I scream and call for help, but nothing, not a single peep other than her heavy ragged breaths and my pleading. I feel everything as she starts ripping my flesh apart, and the last thing I see is her rugged smile as she takes a bite of my flesh, and becomes the once beautiful maiden once more.
