Dear all,

To preface, I will be sending this same letter to my: immediate family, closest friends, current partner, and Catherine the family friend.

You may be wondering why you are receiving this letter, the skull and crossbows wax seal must have been concerning as well. As you know, I have been saving that wax seal I got from the flea market for a very specific occasion.

You might have noticed something off about me lately. Sneaking off for several hours over the course of the past several months, snatching my mail before anyone else could read it, general secretiveness. I assure you there was a reason for all of this, a reason I shall state at the end of this letter, and explain in further detail at the event disclosed below.

In 168 hours from the day I have written this letter, exactly one week, all who receive this same letter will meet at my home at exactly 8 pm. Don’t be late, we will be starting the event at 8:05 sharp. Dress code is business casual, dinner will be provided, as well as no drinks with any alcoholic percentage in respect to Dorothy. As I’ve mentioned, Catherine is also there, as a means for emotional support to those who may require it.

For you see, I am leaving. I do not know when I will be back either. I hope I will not be back any time soon, but not for the reason of avoiding you all. The place I shall be going is simply all to worth it.

For you see, in all plainness and in the simplest of terms, I have booked a Broadway show.

Please do NOT attempt to discuss this until the aforementioned date, prepare exactly 3 questions you may ask before dinner.
