WRITING OBSTACLE
Write a story comprised only of sentences of five words.
Although you can write about whatever you like, consider how the word limit will shape the phrasing, tension and pace of your piece.
And Then There Was Nothing
Kiera was trapped in chaos. She can not think clearly. And her mind is foggy.
Thoughts shatter in a second.
Kiera does not remember it. Does not remember what happened.
She was at home alone. And then there was noise. Lots and lots of noise.
And then there was nothing.
Only the sweet smell lingering.
The smell from the cloth.
The sweet and terrible smell.
And her head burned hard. It was pounding and swelling. Her heart running a race.
Everything burned and also tingled.
Her eyes blurring the room. Blurring it out of focus.
Kiera felt so darn lost. In the unfamiliar, dark room.
She was losing consciousness fast.
Her breathing started to slow.
And the world faded out.
And then there was nothing.
