Who You May Be
I love you more
Than if I’d birthed you myself,
You can do whatever,
You’re too perfect for hell.
I don’t care what you look like
Any more than your gender,
I just want you to be happy,
Not just a pretender.
I’d take any pain for you,
I’d jump in front of bullets,
There’s nothing that I wouldn’t do,
If it meant you’d be ok.
You’re so smart,
You are so mature.
I can’t believe it’s being years we’be been apart,
But I know you’re as perfect as you were from the start.
I’ll love you forever,
Even when I’m long gone.
I’ll watch over you always,
Make sure nothing goes wrong.
