1008 people at the funeral 

There should have been 3036

If there where 3036 people there there would be no funeral

And if the world hadn't turned upside down 

I would be home

Now there is no world to turn upside down

Because of Chiron

The comet named for a protector and teacher in greek mythology

Now it is dust in a crater that destroyed North America and covered the world in smoke and fire 

Not fit for anything

Volcanoes dormant now erupt

Animals burrow to the depths of the earth

Hiding from our protector 

Hiding but not fleeing as we are

We are the animals now

Dear journal 

We got assigned new cabins 

I feel bad most of the kids I shared a room with dont have anyone to move in with 

I’m still happy to move 

Lunas in the lab 24/7 to make sure space has no effect on her

I guess stow away extermination is more important than I thought 

They don't want any animal transfering a disease

Either way I don't have a choice whether to move in or not

When your parents are politicians then rules about child's choice bend 

I have to move out thought when Im 18

I did not think I would be working on a starship now

I had gotten an internship at droina corps a flying car depot

If the world hadn't ended I would be at boarding school 

Then I would be working over the summer

I had complained about having to get a job

Now I would give anything
