Gamble Of Love
Standing outside her apartment with a bouquet of flowers
Threw a stone on her window
Watched her open the window while I grin at her beauty
I could see the shock on her face
“How can someone be this beautiful” I thought!
“Even with her messy hair”
“She has the eyes of an angel”
“Her skin is so bright”
“I’m so in love with her”
“She looks just like a Princess”
“I wonder if she knows I love her…”
“I wonder if…”
“Prince!”
She screams on top of her voice.
I didn’t pay attention she had been calling while I was lost in thoughts of her.
“What are you doing hereee ?”
She asks still in shock.
“Here to see you I said”
“Are you crazyyyyyy ? my dad’s gon kill you! If he comes out”
At some point I couldn’t hear her voice again.
I was so lost in thoughts of her
And all I could think of was to go in straight to her house
But deep down,
I knew what that meant for me
It means facing her dad
Now I’m left with a choice.
To go in and face fire for love, or turn away and let the flame die?
