This was awkward. Leorix looked into the accusing eyes of the inn keeper as the food in his mouth turned to ash. This morning when he woke up all he prayed for was a hot meal to end the suffering of his poor stomach. So when his nose caught a whiff of dumplings mixed into a a thick stew with broth marinated in meat with carrots finely cut ov- His legs were moving before his mind could catch. His hunger in full control. How dare they cook food and NOT expect him to gain a bowl didn’t they know he hadn’t eaten in 4 days? As he climbed into the window of the inns kitchen all he could think of is how rude it was of them to lock food behind a door when there were hungry people outside of it. It’s ok he knew his way around locks nothing could stop him especially anything trying. As he pulled out a spoon and scooped up his first bite he heard a deep voice in the room say something. No matter, the hot broth scalded his mouth but he didn’t care his stomach thanked him. And he stuffed his mouth he sensed a disturbance and quickly dodged to the side as a knife lodged into the wall where he head had just been. Through the door to the inn he saw Rubio, the prince of the land with a birthday hat on as the inn keeper burst through the door eyes flaring with fury. He heard the princes guard draw their swords and head his way. He looked down at the couldron of stew and back at the men heading his way and is about to take off when he drops his crest from the king into the soup….. Oops
