All I Want
My Mama said for Christmas I can ask for anything,
And if I’m well behaved then it might be something Santa brings.
A ball, a bike, a bouncy house, a book, or blocks to build.
Santa could make all those things to keep his sack all filled.
But I know what I want this year — what I really want to get.
Im saving it for Santa’s ear, I haven’t even told Mum yet.
So off to the mall we go, Mum drives with bleary eyes,
I still haven’t told her yet, I’m keeping the surprise.
We wait in line, then up I climb to sit on Santa’s knee,
“Mr Claus can you please bring my daddy back to me.”
