Blazing Fire

The forest smelled of fire and rain, and the sky was painted black.

“If we burn, you burn with us!” A blacked haired girl screams with passion. Pointing towards the fire blazing behind her.

Fire destroyed the land of that so many loved—people, buildings, everything.

A piece of paper laid on the ground.

“The fire is burning

My heart is racing

This morning is blazing

Please help me I’m chasing.”

The poem makes a tab on my heart.

Another one blows in the wind and I catch it.

“Softness is to anger what rain brings to snow.”
