This elegy is for my hope,

Whose loss fills me with sorrow.

And though I have begun to cope,

I look in others to borrow.

Hope was like a drug, you see

Whose venom filled my veins.

My dosage gave me ecstasy,

Withdrawal gives me pain.

Without it, I am incomplete,

A soul who’s lost its eyes.

Bound to break eventually,

A famed pyschic who lies.
