Haunting Is Me, Not You

I never thought I’d see those eyes again. The dark sad like stare, I knew it before. I know it now. This time, they had no life in them. Not like before. Before, those eyes could tell me, ‘I love you, ‘I’m so proud of you’, ‘It’s us against the world’, ‘We look out for each other.’ No, no we don’t. He might of thought before that we did. I never planned on it. When I led him to his doom, I knew exactly what I was doing. Just as much as he thought he was doing. Thought I was easy to manipulate. No. I’m my mother’s daughter. No one manipulates me. She tried to before, now look where she is now. He thought things were different with me. Again—wrong.

Don’t teach me your ways if you don’t want it to come bite you back in the future. Bitch, I’m karma.

I feel no remorse. He looks at me now. As if he is waiting for me to be drowning in the atmosphere of accused guilt.

He told me before, when he was still alive, that the only time he would come back in spirit would be to find his love once more. Guess he was wrong. I’m obviously not his love. I am suprised though, he did end up coming back. Huh. He chose the same animal as my mom. They were always one is the same. But the worst in two.
