POEM STARTER
Write a poem that only involves dialogue.
Remember dialogue has to be between two or more people; it cannot be a monologue. Try to make it clear which voice is speaking when.
She Said
She said “if we were never together, would you still find me?
Would you scream my name through the hollowest of trees
Just to see if it echos with hope to bring you closer?”
She replied: “through the darkest of moments and ashes of old
I will find you as it is my heart you hold.
I will drown in the deepest waters in my head
To bring your head once again upon my shoulder.”
You find beauty in their mistakes
And in their pain give them grace
For their soul cannot be erased
As it is intertwined with yours
And not a single thing can take its place.
