At the end of the day I go into the bathroom and take a breather. I look in the mirror see all my faults.

I see a mom who is trying, but failing.

I see a mom tired mentally, physically, and emotionally.

A mom that tries the whole day to keep her kids happy.

A mom that fights the voices in her head telling her she’s the worst mom.

All I can see is everything I am doing wrong.

The discipline, the lessons I teach them, everything.

But those are always on the bad days. The bad days I see my blood cells and the ugliest parts of my body.

On the good days I see a mom who made it another day.

I see a mom who didn’t get irritable today.

I see a mom who felt like herself for just a few seconds today.

My bad days out of the good days.

I just know when I look in the mirror I see a young girl who is just trying to make it.
