The stars shine bright in rebel light

They shine not in skies serene

As lightning strikes the stormy night

But burn where thunder roars, unseen

They do not wait for the blue to clear

Don’t dread the tempest’s savage roar

And only when the storm is near

Do the stars ignite stronger than before.
