A laughter filled the air around her, from a being she cannot see, but has to trust anyways. Trust is truly her only option now, she can’t die here, not now.

“Alright,” says a voice. It comes from somewhere above and behind her, but nowhere that could be seen. “As long as you are ready to accept the repercussions.”

She closes her eyes in preparation, “I am.”

“Wonderful! Then the power is yours, only for a short while though. You couldn’t very well keep it permanently without payment that is unfit for a child to endure.”

She nods, eternally grateful. And although curious, she knows better than to ask a goddess of lust what punishment she is ‘unfit’ for.

Then something changes, the agreement has begun. A kind of glee fills her, a giddy smile spreads across her face, and her eyes open to behold a new marvel. She can see it all, touch it even, speak to it. It’s beautiful.

“Bow.” She says to the men. All at once they collapse to the ground, knees bent and heads lowered. They can’t very well harm her now. And she will make sure no other girls will have to suffer like this again.

“Take up your weapons.”

As they raise their swords they look upon her with fear, is this how it feels? Was this the same joy they felt all those horrible days before now? She should be sure to enjoy this…

She left the temple of Kaiza with blood on her torn white dress, a smile on her face, and a bittersweet feeling as she looks at the sunset for the last time. But her sight was a small price to pay for revenge.
