As I watched everyone leave I watched you come to me

As I looked into your eyes I seen the hope to be loved

As I touched the skin it told you you’d never been held

As I watched you sleep you had never felt that type of comfort

As I sat in the passenger seat I trusted you with my life and my heart

As I watched you take that first bite my heart fluttered and so did your taste buds
