Be Careful Out There

I stepped out of my reading class As my teacher smiled and told me, “Be careful out there.”

I walked into the middle office And asked the registar what she needed.

It wasnʻt until I got to the teacherʻs lounge that I spotted five office aids with the same papers in hand- Soaked in blood and dead on the floor With smiles and gashes down their faces.

I ran and got the office ladies to come the horror, but when we came back they were gone. I guessed it was all a nightmare and tried to wake up. They gave me a recomendation letter to the schoolʻs scottland trip and held it out to me. I tried to run but the papers were in my hands and the cards had been delt. I felt nothing and smiled, but then fell back with blood in my mouth.
