I don’t want to stick out like a weed in a field of wildflowers

I want to blossom like a daisy

To be as bright as a daffodil

And shine like a petunia

That’s who I want to be

Bright, blossoming and beautiful

I can blend in with the buttercups

Express myself like a rose or tulip

And be as tranquil as a lavender

I can blow in the wind and let my worries crawl up to the clouds

That is who I aspire to be
