Roses are sweet, they’re romantic, a treat and a gift from a loved one to another, but love is a delicate thing. It can be represented by a ring, but a ring can be lost. It can be portrayed with a kiss, but a kiss could be off.

Love needs protection and love is sharp. If love goes sour it can wound your heart and so that’s why a rose has thorns to protect the love it represents.
