Dear jornal 

I hate space food 

I hate not knowing what direction you are and how to use the bathroom

I hate what they are doing to 18 year olds

I just got my family back 

Were supposed to learn how to do the jobs on the ship

I know for a fact know that only 30% of the instructors have been on this ship before

Apparently I'm in the group training to be ¨space cops¨

At least I didn't get janitor

Since i'm 18 tomorrow I get one day to prepare

Dear journal,

I cant bring luna, limited to 3 possessions, I almost wish I did get janitor, the training would be quick

I will bring you of course

My beautiful scarf 

Blue and purple whales dive as bright pink and yellow butterflies swirl and float through the fabric and stars twinkle above dancing with the fireflies 

My great, great, grandmother scarf

She was a traveler of new worlds as am I

She was a diver, an aviator, any frontier she could explore the scarf holds her story

And my great grandmothers she was a scientist and developed cures to a deadly disease that thought many subjects volunteered she only would test on herself.

Then it was my grandmothers my beautiful kind grandmother who died before I was born but left it too me

I only hold stories but great ones

The burns and frays of the fabric show their trials

This scarf shows what's to come
