I had never reached level ten before where you get to lead your horde of zombies to attack the giant squid. Into the tunnel we marched. My army moaning arms stretched toward our target.

Alert for danger I marshalled my troops closer to the squid’s lair when tap on my shoulder one of my zombies turns toward me his jaws gaping open

I can almost smell his rank breath. This isn’t supposed to happen they are my army why would he turn on me. ‘Mutiny’he says eyes yellow I start to run as the squid shoots out from his dark hiding place. I see it now - the squid is zombified. They bow before him

I get it now

The object of the game isn’t to kill the giant squid but to feed him

‘Game over’ hisses the zombie

I feel a tap on my shoulder and start to turn. But everywhere I look it says Game Over

Not a sound in the arcade now except the zombies moaning laughter

I start to run.
