Think about their interactions and disagreements.

The Noxthorne Triplets

The dynamic between the Noxthorne sisters—Eirielle, Eirynia, and Eivey—is as complex and volatile as the realms they control. Each sister’s personality and abilities shape their relationships, often bringing them to the edge of conflict, even as they rely on one another.

Eirielle, the eldest, is the steady force. As the guardian of the Dreamworld, she’s calm and responsible, often burdened by her role as the protector. She tries to keep peace between her sisters, but her control over dreams and the unseen weighs heavily on her. Her patience is tested by their impulsiveness, especially Eivey’s wild nature. She’s protective to a fault, but this leads her to make decisions for her sisters, causing friction—especially with Eirynia, who despises being controlled.

Eirynia, sharp and calculating, governs time and memory. She’s pragmatic, often viewing her role through a lens of control rather than emotion. She sees weakness in sentimentality, which puts her at odds with Eirielle’s empathy. Their relationship is tense; Eirynia resents Eirielle’s leadership and believes she underestimates the power they could wield. Eirynia’s cynicism also alienates Eivey, whose free-spirited, chaotic energy irritates her. She views Eivey as reckless, though she secretly envies her lack of restraint.

Eivey, the youngest, governs life and death and is the most unpredictable. She’s passionate, wild, and emotionally attuned to the world around her, but she lacks the discipline of her sisters. Eirielle’s protective instincts smother her, while Eirynia’s cold pragmatism feels like a judgment on her wild ways. Eivey wants freedom, but her rebellion often puts her in dangerous situations, making her sisters fear for her safety. Despite this, she feels misunderstood, as if neither truly respects her power.

Together, their powers could reshape Tenebraethia, but their clashing personalities and deep-seated differences threaten to tear them apart. Every interaction is laced with tension—Eirielle trying to mediate, Eirynia pushing for control, and Eivey fighting for autonomy. Yet, beneath the conflict is a bond they cannot break, one forged by fate and prophecy. They need each other, even as their differences threaten to destroy everything they’ve built.
