I love poetry and I like to rhyme

So a blank verse with just rhythm

Is not something I have ever tried

Still I suppose that not rhyming

Cannot be that bad.

Or maybe it can.

See what I love about poetry

Is more than just how it flows

It is much more than the rhythm

That makes it go where it must

Not rhyming is tough

On a rhymer like me.

So I must break out the rhymes

They are sweet poetry to my ears

Blank verse is something I cannot do

At least not more than three stanzas.

I love poetry

But I want it to rhyme.
