POEM STARTER
Write a poem that could be sung as a lullaby.
You could set it to the tune of an existing lullaby, or think up your own rhythm. Remember that lullabies are for children, and are ususally meant to be calming.
A Swan Mother’s Lullaby
🎶 Shhh shhhhh
There goes the swan
Gliding gracefully in her pond
Shhh shhhhh
Listen dear
Don’t miss the rustling
Of her wings
Cradling her babes
Shhh shhhhh
Hear hear dear
The cygnets chirping
Under their mother’s wing
Peeping peeping
Like you are my dear
Sleeping sleeping
In my arms my dear 🎶
