WRITING OBSTACLE
In another dimension, dinosaurs walk among humans, but they’re not at all like how the archeologists of our world predicted…
Write a descriptive scene about what dinosaurs are really like.
Jurassic Park Lied
Archaeologists, Jurassic Park, and Scientists of this day have lied.
Oh, don’t look so shocked, my dear reader. They simply are oblivious of the adjacent dimension which allows for travel to the past. However, you are about to peer behind the curtain of this mystery and gaze into the past.
We could go to the World Wars, or the French Revolution, or… wait a minute…I know exactly where to take you.
Dinosaur times.
Oh my, your face has gotten quite pale. Do not fear. The dinosaurs are not as archaeologists have depicted. Dont believe me? Just follow me and I’ll show you.
*_a tear opens up in the space in front of you both and your guide grabs your hand and steps through dragging you with him*_
__
Aha! Here we are. It’s a bit muggy today but that’s alright. Now, lets see where we can find some dinosaurs.
*_a little screech sounded from above catching you off guard*_
__
Oh! There we are! A pterodactyl! Flying high above the sky without a care in the world!
*_your guide whistles and makes you want to shush him. To your horror the big, bird-like Dino comes wooshing down to meet him. However, the pterodactyl lands on his shoulder like a domesticated pet* _

Hehehee! Hello, young one! You see, dinosaurs are not at all scary or vicious as people like scientists, archaeologists, or Jurassic park have made them seem. They are really quite loving creatures.
*_the pterodactyl nuzzles your guide and you relax a bit. It begins to eyeball you, however, and with a flap of its wings it hops over and lands on your shoulder* _
__
__
See, now! It likes you!
*you smile as the dinosaur nuzzles your face and softly screeches in delight*
Well, lets continue on. We have much more to see!
*_you follow your enthusiastic guide as he introduces you to all sorts of Dinos with similar personalities. Some are shy and stand-off-ish while others bring you a stick and ask you to play. All of them are no like you thought and make you think that you’d like to come back, despite you first bit of fright.*_

__
Time for the final dinosaur! See how the landscape is trembling? That means the king is coming!
*_terror claims its hold on you once more as the ground shakes more and more. A T-Rex rounds the bend and lets out an ear splitting roar. This one must be as depicted, right? Wrong. The Dino bounds over like a puppy and leans its head down to become eye to eye with you and your guide. You are stiff with fright but your guide is not. He reaches out and begins to scratch the big Dino on the nose. The T-Rex’s eyes roll back with pleasure and you laugh in spite of yourself. Your guide takes your hand and puts it on its nose. He leans into the scratch just a bit then he uses his nose to flip you and your guide onto his back. You hold on for dear life as te T-Rex runs at full tilt with other, smaller Dino’s running at his side. After a bit, you begin to laugh. This was fun! After the exhilarating ride, however, your guide turns to you.*_

Well, my friend, it is time to return home. My, my, you were reluctant to come now you don’t wish to leave! Do not fret, you may return from time to time if you wish. But, for now, you must go home.
*_you wave goodbye to your newly found friends and follow your guide through another tear that has just opened up. When you arrive home, you feel sad. Quite as if you have just lost a little piece of you or lost a brand new friend. But you know you can return. You need only to call upon your guide to take you where you wish to go and this thought comforts you as you settle in to watch a little bit of Jurassic Park_
