The Love She Waited For
Ultimately, she decided to marry the king, but not for power or riches. But how at peace she was with him. How quickly he noticed the little things about herself when others had overlooked or thought of as unimportant. How he still opens the door for her. His kindness was genuine, and his smile spoke volumes, reassuring her heart that she was making the right choice. That this time she got it right.
With him, she felt seen and valued, not just as a queen but as herself. She felt safe with him and no longer had to build walls. She no longer had to do things herself to survive. She no longer had to struggle. He was there when she needed him. He gave her space to fly. He didn’t control her, abuse her, or mistreat her. With him, she wasn’t a doormat. With him, she could be herself without fear of judgment. With him, routines were therapy sessions where she could unravel and be vulnerable. Together, they crafted a life woven with mutual respect and love. Their days were filled with laughter, and their nights whispered stories of dreams and possibilities. His scent soothes all her worries, wrapping her in a cocoon of warmth and safety. Her love for him is a gentle stream, ever-flowing and constant, nourishing both their souls. It grows each day. She loves him more than anyone she ever loved. Her love for him is true and one that will last forever. Everlasting. There will be many memories and stories written. She can’t wait to fill the blank pages of their future, embracing every moment, crafting their story with joy and tenderness. She married him because he doesn’t put her on a pedestal or in a box. He sees her as his sidekick, his equal , a partner in their shared journey.
Together, they navigate life's challenges hand in hand, each step echoing with the symphony of their devotion. And as they walk side by side, through seasons of change and moments yet to come, she knows—this is the love she waited for. Not perfect, but true. Not flashy, but real. Built on the quiet strength of being seen, heard, and held. Together, they will write a life, page by page, with ink made of laughter, honesty, and love. And this time, she’s not just surviving—she’s home.
