Write a framed story, or a story that contains a story within it. This type of stiry usually consists of a character in the frame (your story) telling a smaller story the to another character in the frame.

An example would be “The Princess Bride” in which a grandfather reads a book to his grandson. The movie is the book they are reading; however, the frame is simply a story of the grandfather sharing his favorite book with his grandson.

Think carefully about your story, and why an additional story is being told.
