Lilith sat on the floor with Shain on her lap, sobbing into her neck. They had seen a logo similar to the one of the lab they grew up in. The lab was infamous for getting away with all the horrible things they have done.

She held them tight. She hated the fact that her lover, whom she would kill and (has) die(d) for, could never escape the past they went through. Even with all the help and support, Shain’s mental stability is still weak.

She gently stroked their hair, softly whispering here and there. Shain had stopped hyperventilating and was now sobbing softly.

They sat there for a while.

After a bit, Lilith had noticed that Shain fallen asleep. She smiled warmly, glad that had calmed down. She lifted them up and carried them to their bed. She gently put them down and slid under the covers with them. She once again, wrapped her arms around them and held them as they slept. She could feel herself slipping under and eventually did.
