STORY STARTER

Submitted by Leah Grace

Those hazel eyes are soft; eyes that donโ€™t belong to a killer.

Write a short story that contains this line or centres around the idea.

Reflection

Hazel eyes, so soft and warm,

A gaze that hides a darker storm.

They donโ€™t belong to a heart that kills,

The truth yet lingers, silent, still.

In those eyes, the quiet lie,

A killerโ€™s truth I canโ€™t deny.

The mirror shows what I canโ€™t fleeโ€”

The dark reflection inside of me.
