WRITING OBSTACLE
Demonstrate. Incapacitate. Solidify.
In a story of no more than 10 sentences, use these three words in any order. The point is to create a story line that allows you to link them all naturally, without forcing them into random places.
Him
It's him. His stare incapacitates every fibre of self-restraint in my body. No matter how hard I try, I cannot stop myself from gravitating towards him - I'm a helpless apple free-falling because he is my core, the source of gravity that makes me fall. And just like gravity, he needs not do anything but exist in those eyes that reflect the sky to demonstrate his grip on me and solidify my intense longing… for him.
"Are you okay?" The masculine timbre of his voice pulls me out of my thoughts just to plunge me deeper. Does he even know the power he has over me? “You look,” he pauses as he studies me, “lost.” He finally says.
Funny how true that is — I am lost, lost in his voice, in his eyes, in his presence. Lost in him.
Nice work, you incorporated those three words very seamlessly! If this concept was expanded into a short story I would definitely read it too!
