Using this common saying as inspiration, write a poem about something that was meant to be good going wrong.

Questions

If I wasn’t ok,

Would you want to know?

If the pain was too much

And I couldn’t let go,

Would you want me to tell you

And not let it grow?

If the darkness looked endless

And I hadn’t a hope,

Would you want me to wave

Before I go?

Questions run through my mind

But what repeats time after time,

Can you tell I’m lying

Each time I say I’m fine?
