We were warned about the monster in the sea. We didn’t believe them, thinking they were only sailor stories and nothing more. Oh how we were wrong. We weren’t suspecting anything, not until the water got worse and the boat started shaking. Then we believed. We believed when it roared up from a whirlpool that we’d met our end. It consumed all our senses, the smell sound taste of it, all was frightening. But while it yelled at us, thats all it did. Several horrifying minutes and then it was all over. It dove back into the raging water and we never saw it again. The sea calmed and we carried on.
