"Push me higher!" Mia shouted, her pigtails flying as she clutched the swing's chains.

Her brother, Aaron, planted his sneakers into the woodchips and gave her a shove. The swing squealed, tilted forward, then whooshed back.

"If you go any higher, you'll touch the clouds!"

"But, I _want _to touch the clouds!"

Nearby, two other kids argued over a red plastic shovel in the sandbox.

"You had it first yesterday," one remarked, hands on hips.

"Yeah, but today's a new day!" the other replied, tugging it back.

Their squabble quieted when a golden retriever bolted across the grass, chasing a ball. Everyone's heads turned, even Aaron's. His push faltered, and Mia slowed to a gentle swing.

"Hey," she said, pointing up at the sky. It was streaked pink and orange. "Looks like the clouds are coming down to us instead!"

Aaron glanced up, then smiled. "Guess you got your wish."
