cooked up in thoughts this beastie unrefined.

in the shadows where my dreams unwind,

I birthed a creature that is cruel, not kind.

Its eyes are like LEDs, red with my fears,

reflecting doubts that play between my ears.

a creature made from past's stinking souvenirs,

a mirror of my worries soaked in tears.

With words that loop I stitched it tight,

a creature born from my own mental fight

and in its glare no glimmer of my light,

Just twisted echos of my dreams takes flight.

Oh, messed-up muse, what have I spawned to roam?
