What he wasn’t prepared for was the fact that one of them really wanted him out of the picture and ended up behind the wheel.

Easton stood down the bridge a ways. He didn’t notice until to late that they never intended to swerve. It was all or nothing.

“Oh geez….we got to get out of here guys,” he heard one of them say, though it sounded like they were in a tunnel instead of on a bridge. And they did just that. Left him. He past out within an hour thinking just a dare? I dare them to try again when I see them next.

Then weeks later, but only felt like moments, he awoke in a hospital room.
