Friend?
New human? *sniff sniff sniff*
Clean human? *sniff sniff sniff*
Small human, very small human, play?
“Waaaaaa! Waaaaa!”
Strange noise! “Grrrr!”
“Waaaa! Waaa!”
“It’s okay boy.”
Listening.
“Come here.”
Tail between legs, walk slowly.
Look human in eyes.
Small human looks back, eyes wide like mine.
Friend? Wag tail.
Human stops strange noise and looks at me.
“Friend,” it speaks only to me.
