POEM STARTER
Write a poem on any topic you like using slant rhyme.
Slant rhyme is where two words sound very similar, but do not exactly rhyme. For example: soon/gloom, cloud/doubt.
Arson
Deck the halls with gasoline!
(Falalalalalalalala!)
Light the match and watch it gleam!
(Falalalalalalalala!)
Now the school is burnt to ashes!
(Falalalalalalalala!)
Aren’t you glad you played with matches?
