Write a Somonka from the perspectives of two lovers. A Somonka is made of two Tankas, with the second responding to the first.
A tanka consists of five lines with a syllabic structure of 5-7-5-7-7
stars in the sky
my love for you grows
and so does the universe.
infinitely warm
like all the stars in the sky.
but who could count all the stars?
I’m counting the stars
as I await your return,
together again.
tomorrow, love, and if not,
then tomorrow’s tomorrow.
