I sat on the school bench, waiting for Mom to come and pick me up but I don't see the black van pulling up in the school driveway. I didn't mind it if she was late since I have.... 14 siblings to take care of not to mention 2 of them are older than me. I decided to put on my headphones and listen to Dad's playlist. They were all love songs and I didn't really have a good thought about love ever since... Kelsie. I growled at myself, the name, even in my head stung. In my opinion, Dad had good taste in music but the only music he ever listens to is Mom's. I didn't notice my notebook falling on the ground and I saw my Mom's van pull up near the bench so I got up and slung my backpack over my shoulder. But before I walked, someone tapped me on the shoulder. I turned around to see a girl with white hair, crystal blue eyes, and a gentle smile. She was holding my notebook for me.

"Is this yours?" She asked.

I nodded, "Y-yeah, thanks" Mom rolled down the window and she seemed like she knew the girl.

"Stella! It is so great to see you!"

"Oh hello, again" the girl, Stella, replied.

They both started talking like if they were long lost friends then suddenly Mom introduces to me.

"Stella this is Charlie, my third oldest."

"How old are you?"

I shrugged, "I'm only 18."

Stella giggled, "Me too!" I don't know why but her giggle sounded... Pretty cute. I shook my head, what was I thinking?
