Whisper
Mirror mirror on the wall
Voices speak, darkness falls
Gnaw at your mind, beg when you're weak
A whispered lull, shrieking calls
Picture picture in the frame
You turn your head and hide your shame
Hands reach out, gnarled, oblique
Laughing at their twisted game
Passing passing pass you by
Watching watching, watch you try
Ignore, pretend like they don’t speak
And keep you up all hours of night
White walls, white walls surround every end
Arms bound, held tight, the locks are your friend
The voices bend, they bleed, they leak
You spoke, they heard. They trapped you again
Quiet, quiet, shadows grow near
Lesser, lesser, don't let them hear
Open, a path, that’s what they seek
Grabbing, grabbing, reach for your fear
Flee, flee, run while you can
Chasing, chasing, hunting began
Your lungs are burning, you fly on your feet
Desperate, desperate, only a span
Faster, faster
…
Push harder…
