the word perfection

an unachievable faith, most say

the distrust seeping through those

lips, never fully embracing the beauty of mother nature

green sorrow raining down the willow

lake fallen fast into the horizon, blending with the ever-blue sky

soft petals blooming, one day to seeds once again

we may be no different from that purity

destined to return where we have once came

here solely for connection,

seeking little joy found in the sea of sin we lie within

forcing content to that

fabricated purity, as incapable we are to indulge true perfection

a lie i too once believed til a lily bloomed from purely starlight,

falling to fields once frigid

sharing its gentle warmth

thorns, to seldom attack

yet defend honestly

leaves that tickle the skin,

a chuckle can't help but escape the lips of those who

interact, petals soft as clouds you never want to leave
