Lucy was sure her mother was right behind her but when she looked back she was gone. But there in a clearing stood her mother, frozen with fear she stood like a statue. Facing her was one of the Scandinavian guards. He was asking her questions like,

“Where is your daughters?”

“I don’t know,” she sobbed.

“Tell me now!”

“I don’t know, I don’t,” but before Lady Lilyanna could finish, _Fling, _the guard shot his arrow_ _and it pierced right through the heart of the Douchess. Lucy screamed.

🤍This was happening when Lucy and her sister were fleeing their kingdom due to a war.

🤍Lucy fainted on their walk and is now on a sofa in the living room at night. William got mad at her for not telling him that she was betrothed and now Lucy is trying to apologize.

“Please”, she said and then started crying.

“Oh Lucy, don’t cry”, he said and sat on the sofa beside her and held her close. She sobbed in to his freshly washed shirt for what felt like hours. He calmly stroked his hands through her hair in hope to calm her crying. Soon after her sobs dyed down to what’s now mostly silence.

”Lucy”, he said,

“I’m sorry, I should not have gotten mad at you. I love you,” and pulled her helpless body closer. They stayed like that for what felt like forever until Lucy found herself waking up to the sound of birds. She was still in the same position she was last night, her head on Williams chest, her arms around herself.

“Good morning”, she said to William.

“Good morning Lucy”,he said.

(This is where it gets funny🤍)

“Good morning you to”?! Mary said. “Had a good nights sleep, I’m guessing”.

“Please don’t tell mother, she would be furious”, William said.

“Of course not, your my favorite brother after all. I would never”, she said with a smirk on her face.
