Outbreak
The stars in the sky were shinning brightly. A familiar site, as if a canvas of black had been poked with hudresds of holes, to let just enough light through. One could not miss the moon as it shone reflecting the glory of the sun. Constellations helped tell your location. It was always nice to look up at the sky at night and be comforted by its familiarity. So much had changed since the outbreak a hundred years ago.
The oubreak changed everything. Society. People. Even the landscape was completely different. In just a hundred years, nature was reclaiming the earth, section by section. As people left big cities to survive out in the wild, nature took back the cities. Green moss, vines, and trees starting popping up in streets. Buildings grew old, with mold, dirt caked on. There was no one left to clean the buildings, to care for them. The rain didn’t help either. With the outbreak came a huge change in climate, as it rained most of the time. This made the mold, and moss grow even more. Nature and man’s best architecture blending into a new creation.
